Too Much Thinking....?

Most days go by and I try not to "think" but it happens and as much as I avoid it by keeping the focus on the present there are times that I slip and go for a mental ride through.."Juan's World"...something most of us underachiever's do. Yes or should I refer to us as "settlers" those of us who just realized how hard it is to actually just get through one day with out putting some things on the back burner...all I have to offer is this..what are you putting on the back burner..?...and should it be up on the front burner?...just something to "think" about..

Expectations...

"Spring"...once people hear that word they believe that we are supposed to be surrounded by flowers and warm sunny days. When it doesn't happen they catch bad attitude and make nasty comments about the weather. As for me I have learned to enjoy each day as is and the only expectation I hold is the next breath to enjoy the next moment...

Natures Music....

Endless...when I look up at the sky that's what comes to mind. The other thought is freedom followed by weightlessness I could go on and on which brings me around to the beginning...endless, then I realize that, that is what life feels like. Nature sleeps for a while the it starts to awaken then eventually grow and color is everywhere all naturally produced effortless it may seem but all works together for good. Nature is like an orchestra blending all instruments to create a symphony in harmony. So is life...I am part of that life the rain is like a sad day, a storm is like a major situation that I may go through every season reflects a stage a moment or sometimes a day in my life...so I will learn how to dance to the music of the symphony...

Just A Thought....

It's spring...most of the trees and shrubs are showing. To think that about 3 weeks ago they were was nothing but naked branches it all looked so hopeless like winter had won....but here we are watching the bloom start letting us know that summer with it's warm days will soon be here and the hopelessness of cold snowy winter a distant memory...even nature has hope.

Just Got Real...

Things just got real...the position I've had for the past 9 years is being "phased out" that by the end of this year it will not exist....so I took part in a "shadow" program that the company offers so that I see what it would be like in a position I am considering....
If I had the courage I would just go out and get a "great" job...
-for me that would en tale being some kind of fashion trend spotter....leading to predictions.
-earning a great living somewhere in the neighborhood of 65k and up!...really no limit.
-some traveling and the ability to work from anywhere. With no set hours.

This where I live now and it is the best place to be but it has an after effect. The effect is that I have to put aside things that make me happy and start looking at what "happiness" really is. It just takes a bit of adjusting in the way I think and see the world around me. Is it bright and hopeful or dark and hopeless..?

Trust...

The word has a depth that sends shivers down my spine. I have reached a point in my life where it is soon to become the only way to live. I don't say questions are bad but sometimes can be distracting at least for me they have become excuses instead of reasons. So now I move into a space and a level that faith and trust the result is living and being alive...just doing what I do and that is wake up and proceed..

Yes! This is something I need to do shut the voices in my head that keep me from doing what I "know" I need to do. This has happened for so long that I feel these thoughts are part of me and all they do is keep me safe buit they don't maybe at one time in my youth they did but today they just hold me back. I also keep forgeting that it's a constant it never really goes away....being more aware today is worth so much.....
